We are delighted to welcome Amanda Reece and Faton Gashi, who joined the team as partnership manager and sales support manager, respectively. Both have worked for UK high street banks in the past and join Spotcap during times of increased need for business finance.
At Spotcap, Amanda works closely with brokers, accountants and other partners to support their clients in finding finance that fits. She has more than 12 years of experience in the business finance sector, having worked at Barclays, RBS and Lloyds Bank in the past.
Faton is part of the sales support team and provides support to Spotcap’s partners and clients during and after the entire loan application process. Previously, he held various roles with HSBC and was awarded Customers’ Choice Advisor in 2017.
Darwin Delahaye, Senior Partnership Manager at Spotcap, comments on the appointments: “We are delighted to have Amanda and Faton on board as our partnership manager and sales support manager. Their experience and professional attitude will certainly contribute to Spotcap’s success – with an overall focus on sustainable growth and establishing trusted relationships.”
Darwin continues: “Our recent Commercial Finance Industry Pulse showed that 77% of intermediaries are confident about future lending activity and business growth in the UK. We will continue to work hard – together with our extensive partner network – to provide unsecured loans to UK businesses within one working day.”
Spotcap spoke to over 130 commercial finance intermediaries and collected their views on the current state and future of SME lending. Those questioned are considered to be an important part of the SUK business funding jigsaw. The survey insights show that there is a lot of potential for them to help fill the £22 billion funding gap. The more adaptable and open-minded to change intermediaries – and lenders – are, the better they can help their clients as well as grow their business.
